All India Conference of Postal Stenographers Association at Kolkata

Dear bro. Ramesh & friends
saw this news in the AIPSA-TN blog last week.
West Bengal is a circle where trade unionism runs in the blood of every member. Noticed this when I attended the first circle conference organised by the WB circle of AIPSA at Kolkata. Bro. Pathak and his team of activists organised the circle conference in a befitting manner and i have no doubt that they will organise this A.I. conference, to be remembered for ever.
I trust that this conference would come out with strategies and action plans to achieve the long pending demands. A huge gathering to thank Bro. Sukumaran for his yoemen service to the Association would make it my day.
My best wishes for a successful conference.
R.Kannan, (ex.) General Secretary, AIPSA

he Agenda seems to be a narrow looking at things. What the AIPSA has done so far for the betterment of Steno. cadre. Do you know, there is no All India Gradation List in the Directorate. Our representations have no takers at the Directorate. What happened to allowing Stenographers of Department of Posts to appear in Group B Examination. Simply writing letters without a follow up has no effect. Secondly, our AIPSA Members to be nominated in JCM of Department of Posts. Unless it is done, don't blame DOP&T. Why don't you write to DOP&T and tell them the pathetic position of Steno. cadre in Department of Posts. All the cadres have been reviewed and their promotional avenues have been widened. But, our cadre has been a neglected cadre. What the AIPSA has done so far to all the above things may please be posted in the Website.
