Kindly see the postal staff corner website.
Vide OA No.381 of 2010,of Ernakulam bench All India Postal Inspector Association has filed
additional rejoinder statement for parity case. Till now we did not file the case in Court. As per latest orders, there is time limit for filing a case. On the outcome of 6th CPC report, we must file a case in CAT/ High Court within the stipulated period. I think it is already lapsed. Kindly check it up. If anybody attends CWC meeting, kindly highlight this point also.

We should not delay to file the case any more. Otherwise our chances in filing the case itself will be a failure.

See the AI Postal Inspectors Association. They are doing the work in right time and they have come to file rejoinder statement.

My humble request is there must be some unity and take appropriate action to file the case immediately without further delay.

The life of a Postal Stenographer does not change as fast as the seasons do. We have received yet another communication from Hon’ble Minister for State stating that he has received a letter from his counterpart of DOPT that all the recommendations of the VI CPC as agreed to by the Government have been implemented. The Hon’ble Minister for State for MOC&IT had all the pleasure to forward the letter he has received from his counterpart to us. But, whatever stated in the said letter was a lie of the century and a cruel joke on poor stenographers. If the Government had implemented parity, where is the need for us to run from pillar to post.
As a result of the proposed strike in the month of July, the Postal Department has appointed a Cadre Restructure Committee for examining the cases of Cadre Restructure of different cadres, except the Accounts cadres, working in the Postal Department, with the following members:

DDG (Estt) - Chairperson
Official Side Staff Side
DDG (P) Shri. K. V. Sridharan, GS, AIPEU G – ‘C’
Director (SPN) Shri. Giri Raj Singh, GS, AIRMS & MMS EU Group ‘C’
- Shri. D. Kishan Rao, GS, NAPE Gr. ‘C’
We have also submitted a representation to the said Committee and a copy is forwarded hereby. You please go through the same and it is advised to improve your awareness levels. I also take this chance to advise all my members to visit www.aipsa.blogspot.com and subscribe your view points. The website plays a pivotal role in strengthening of the organization. This is high time that we all came together, exchanged our view points and shared emotions.
Shri K.S. Krishna Murthy, our Treasurer from Hyderabad went to Delhi and met the advocate along with Shri Ramkishan. Several suggestions were given for improving the petition. It was emphasized that more focus should be given to Grade I, Grade II and Grade III Stenographers in the case of parity with the CSSS.
The Advocate has been persuaded to come down with the fee, but in vain. So, my dear brothers and sisters, we need to save to Rs.3 lakhs minimum. Unless, you all come forward to contribute, we will not come out successful. In my last letter, I asked for a minimum of Rs.1000/- per Steno. It should happen. No other go. So far, I have not received even one lakh. I don’t know how to venture to go forward. You all should admit that we are not GDS employees, but Stenographers and more than Stenographers drawing around (more than) Rs.30000 per month and who also drew arrears of more than Rs.1 lakh. IT IS VERY DISCOURAGING THAT OUR MEMBERS ARE NOT PROMPTLY RESPONDING. It is not correct to expect that some others should spend for our sake. Are we so poor? I expect that Private Secretaries and Senior Private Secretaries contribute more liberally.
As already informed, our next CWC will be held in Vijayawada on 11th and 12th December, 2010. All the CWC members are requested to attend the CWC without fail. We will be taking many important decisions.
With regards,
Yours fraternally,

Dear Shri Ramesh,
I fully agree with your feelings and I am really thankful for the concern you have for your fellow members. Everybody should come forward and contribute liberally. Sir, I request you to more emphasis on the service conditions of Stenographer Grade III. I am a stenographer Grade III having completed 12 years of service. So far I did not get promotion. Under MACP I am given with 2800 Grade Pay. Where as a frind of mine who has completed exactly 5 years has got promtion to Grade II and is in 4200 GP. In my circle (Orissa )though one post is vacant in Grade I no DPC is conducted and as a result we all are suffering. Sir, the Grade III stenographer is postal Department is under a lot of frustration and depression. Kindly safe him.

Dear Anonymous!! I fully agree with your remarks. Most of the circles are not conducting DPCs timely and periodically as a result lot of people are suffering very badly. Just as cited by you some circles are conducting DPCs promptly and as a results their Grade III stenographers are promoted. There should be equal justice and rule.
