Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the result of SSC CHSL 2016. The exam was held from 7th January 2017 to 8th February 2017 in the Computer Based Mode for Recruitment of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators, Lower Division Clerks and Court Clerk at various centres all over the country. 30,57,993 candidates appeared in the said Examination and 53201 candidates have been qualified for the Tier II (Descriptive test).Check below for more details.

REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICAL CLAIMS TO PENSIONERS UNDER CS (MA) RULES, 1944 AS DIRECTED BY VARIOUS CATS/COURTS - REGARDING

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub : Reimbursement of medical claims to pensioners under CS (MA) Rules, 1944 as directed by various CATS/Courts - Regarding.

            The undersigned is directed to state that various references are being received in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the above mentioned subject. it is hereby clarified that CS (MA) Rules, 1944 are not applicable to pensioners till date.

2.         It is further informed that the following options to avail medical facilities are available to Central Government pensioners:

a)         Pensioners residing in CGHS covered areas:

1) They can get themselves registered in CGHS dispensary after making requisite contribution and can avail both OPD and IPD facilities.
2). Pensioners residing in CGHS areas cannot optout of CGHS and avail any other medical facility {i.e. Fixed Medical Allowance). Such pensioners, if they do not choose to avail CGHS facility by depositing the required contributions, cannot be granted Fixed Medical allowance in lieu of CGHS.

b) Pensioners residing in non -CGHS areas:

1). They can avail Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA) @ Rs.500/- per month
2) They can also avail benefits of CGHS- [OPD and IPD] by registering themselves in the nearest CGHS “city after“making the required subscription.
3) They also have the option to avail FMA, for OPD treatment and CG HS for IPD treatments after making the required subscriptions as per CGHS guidelines.
3.         In view. of the above, reimbursement of medical claims to pensioners under CS (MA) Rules, 1944 as directed by various CATS/Courts, need not be referred to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The respective Administrative Department/Ministry may take their own decision in this regard.
4.         further, all Departments/Ministries are requested to intimate their employees proceeding for retirement regarding the above options for medical facilities available to the Central Government pensioners.
5. This issues with the approval of competent authority.

Subscribe for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) digitally through user friendly eNPS Platform

Subscribe for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) digitally through user friendly eNPS Platform; APY subscribers base is more than 54 Lakhs subscribers; APY fund managers have generated a return of 13.91%.
Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), the administrative Authority for Atal Pension Yojana (APY) has taken several steps for extension of the benefits of the Scheme to the Citizens of India. The subscriber can enroll through internet banking without submission of physical application form. Many banks are offering this facility for their customers.  Efforts are taken to completely digitize the APY enrolment. PFRDA has developed the process to offer APY enrolment through eNPS platform for wider reach. eNPS platform has been already enabled for NPS subscriptions and this user friendly platform will be expanded  to make subscription under APY in a complete end to end digital environment without submission of physical form at the convenience of the customer without visiting bank or post office.

            PFRDA has conducted meetings with Banks and Department of Post on 23.05.2017 & 29.05.2017 at PFRDA office, New Delhi and at Chennai respectively for the earliest roll out of the facility.

            Shri B.S. Bhandari, Whole Time Member, Economics, PFRDA had addressed the meetings where Senior officials of IT/Nodal officers of the Banks/Deptt of Post were present at Delhi. Shri A.G Das, Chief General Manager, PFRDA had briefed about the benefits of  APY@eNPS platform to the Service Providers under APY. The APY service providers have been advised to develop  APY@eNPS channel features before 30th June 2017. 
 
  The meeting at Chennai was chaired by Shri K Mohan Gandhi, DGM, PFRDA wherein he highlighted the benefits of APY@eNPS platform and urged the IT team of Banks to develop the facility.

APY subscribers base is more than 54 Lakhs subscribers. APY fund managers have generated a return of 13.91%. 
 

Here are SBI's new service charges that kick in from 01-06-2017




NEW DELHI: State Bank of India (SBI) had announced several revisions in charges on different services last month. The new charges kick in from June 1. Below is a summary of the revised charges: 

ATM charges 
All cash withdrawals through ATM—by customers of its mobile wallet State Bank Buddy—will now be charged at Rs 25 per transaction. Beyond four withdrawals in a month— for basic savings banks deposit account—the service charges applicable will be Rs 50 plus service tax per transaction; Rs 20 plus service tax at other bank ATMs; and Rs 10 plus service tax for SBI's own ATMs. All normal savings bank accounts will continue to get eight free ATM transactions in metros and 10 free transactions in non-metros. 
Online transfer 
IMPS fund transfer charges through internet banking/UPI/IUSSD will be Rs 5 plus service tax for amounts of up to Rs 1 lakh; Rs 15 plus service tax for above Rs 1 lakh and up to Rs 2 lakh; and Rs 25 plus service tax for above Rs 2 lakh and up to Rs 5 lakh. 

Deposits through banking correspondents 
Cash deposit through banking correspondent of up to Rs 10,000 will be charged at 0.25 per cent of the value with a minimum of Rs 2 and maximum of Rs 8 plus service tax. Cash withdrawal through banking correspondent of up to Rs 2,000 will be charged at 2.50 per cent of the transaction value (minimum of Rs 6) plus service tax. 

Cards 

Only RuPay classic card will be issued for free. 

Cheque book charges 
Issue of a 10-leaf cheque book will now cost Rs 30 plus service tax; 25-leaf book, Rs 75 plus service tax and 50-leaf book at Rs 150 plus service tax. 

Exchange of bad currency notes 
Service charges for exchange of soiled/imperfect notes, up to 20 pieces and value of Rs 5,000 will attract no charge. More than 20 pieces will invite Rs 2 per piece plus service tax. For value above Rs 5,000, Rs 2 per piece or Rs 5 per 1,000 plus service tax, whichever is higher on the entire order will be charged.

India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) PO Mains 2016-17 Exam Result Out

To bring an end to your anticipation, India Post Payments Bank has finally released the result for the candidates who appeared for IPPB PO Mains Examination. The Result is sent through e-mail to your registered e-mail ID and we suggest that you check your email ID now to see if you've been called for Phase-III (Interview) of IPPB Recruitment or not.
IPPB has not yet released the cut off for the same but we expect it to come out soon. Check your mail IDs to see your result. Only the selected candidates have received an e-mail which itself is an invitation letter for Interview Procedure for IPPB PO Recruitment. The subject line of the email that selected students have received is: Invitation to interview | India Post Payments Bank and most of the selected students have been called to Mumbai for the Interview. They've mentioned date, time and exact address of the venue in the email itself.

How to Check IPPB PO Mains Result 2016-17

  3. Email mentions Invitation to interview
  4. Details mentioned in Email include Date, Time and Address of the venue
  5. Interview will be conducted in Mumbai
